MSI Unveils N9800GTX Series Graphics Card

MSI unveiled its latest N9800GTX series graphics card. The MSI N9800 GTX series graphics card increases the performance bar by enabling full-throttle life-like game play at intense resolutions while providing optimal power management with HybridPower technology.

The three MSI N9800GTX series graphics cards which run in 3-way nVidia SLI mode on the new nVidia nForce 780i and 790i motherboards enable up to 2.8x performance increase over a single GPU. The PureVideo HD engine features scene-optimized color and contrast enhancement.

With the built-in HybridPower technology, MSI N9800GTX Series lets users switch from GeForce 9800 GTX graphics card to your motherboard GeForce GPU when running less graphically-intensive applications for a silent, low power PC experience.

The N9800GTX-T2D512 is priced at Rs. 23,000.

Gigabyte Unveils Graphics Accelerator

Gigabyte launched their new graphic accelerator, the GV-NX98X1GHI-B.

The graphic accelerator is equipped with nVidia’s latest dual on-board graphics processors and features 1 GB GDDR3 memory and 256 stream processors to provide 3D game rendering.

The GV-NX98X1GHI-B supports native High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) for the highest level of graphics realism and film-quality multimedia effects and is integrated with Quad nVidia SLI Technology.

The Gigabyte GV-NX98X1GHI-B also features NVIDIA’s latest advanced technologies including GigaThread technology, which, through the use of a massively multi-threaded architecture, is able to create thousands of independent, simultaneous threads, providing extreme processing efficiency for advanced, next generation shader programs. Additionally, the Gigabyte GV-NX98X1GHI-B supports nVidia’s Quantum Effects technology, enabling a new level of physics effects to be simulated and rendered on the GPU.

Priced at Rs. 39,900, the Gigabyte GV-NX98X1GHI-B also features the Lumenex engine, which introduces 16x Anti-aliasing and 128-bit floating point High-Dynamic-Range (HDR), for ultra realistic rendering of lighting effects.

Sony Unveils Wall-Mountable VAIO Notebook

Sony has added to another notebook in their VIAO lineup with the release of the VAIO LM notebook.

The VAIO LM features PC design reminiscent of Sony’s BRAVIA LCD TV’s with its 19-inch screen framed by a transparent bezel. The new laptop can be wall-mounted and features wireless keyboard, mouse and remote control.

Aimed at those who want the functionality of a PC in their living area, the VAIO LM is designed as an entertainment hub that doubles as a TV, with in-built TV tuner, built-in 1.3MP camera with face-tracking software, 2.1-channel speaker system and sub-woofers.

The VAIO LM features an Intel Core2 Duo Processor T7250 (2.00GHz), 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 250GB HDD, Windows Vista Home Premium, and nVidia graphics card. The laptop comes with the latest VAIO Music Box software, it lets users define default channel capacity for music in advance, so that the system is able to automatically select signal descriptors for sound classification into 24 channels. Besides, VAIO LM new Movie Story software allows users to create and edit their own video easily.

The VAIO VGC-LM18 is available across Sony stores for Rs.1,09,900.

MSI Unviels MSI N9800GX2 Series Graphics Card

MSI unveiled its latest MSI N9800GX2 Series graphics card. The card is engineered for extreme graphics performance. The MSI N9800GX2 Series is a dual GPU-based graphics card that provides a complete, high definition entertainment and gaming solution for the PC. The MSI N9800GX2 Series comes with total 256 units stream processors and a combined 512-bit memory interface.

With nVidia HybridPower technology, two on-board GPUs and total 1GB graphics memory built-in, MSI N9800GX2 is claimed to be the fastest graphics card available.

The nVidia HybridPower technology delivers graphics performance when the user needs it and low-power operation when the user doesn’t.
